About Me

For almost twenty years, I have helped people write and tell their stories.

As a college instructor, I shepherded hundreds of students through the process of storytelling using words, pictures, and soundI taught film production and screenwriting at California State University of Long Beach, Long Beach City College, and Los Angeles Valley College for a total of eight years.  I became adept at helping students find and communicate their stories.  Since then, I have helped people write fiction, screenplays, speeches for special occasions, and personal statements.

I have optioned screenplays to several Hollywood producers, including an academy award nominated director.  I recently novelized the movie Cowgirls 'n Angels, which is slated for release this Memorial Day.  I am available as a script doctor and ghost writer.

After completing my undergraduate work at Harvard University and Amherst College, I graduated magna cum laude in Creative Writing, with an English and Art double major.  I received my MFA from Columbia University, Film Division, with a concentration in screenwriting.
